Minty appears at first to be your typical Floette; she's a carefree lover of flowers, albeit one who has the demeanour of a very tiny, very proper lady who while modest, likes things to be just so. However, she tends to get shy around large crowds and shatter this illusion of propriety by hiding down the back of Bilbo's jacket. Surprisingly, she has a mean streak that is usually extremely well-hidden, but when provoked comes out in a rather vindicative manner.

Some words to describe Teasel: persistent, prankster, annoying as all heck. Teasel more or less wore Bilbo down into bonding with her out of sheer curious persistence, and at first seemed to have made it her mission to make her Trainer's life difficult. She has the typical Murkrow love of shiny things and an unfortunate kleptomaniac streak, having no qualms with stealing these shinies from all and sundry. Thanks in part to advice from Ami Mizuno, Bilbo has managed to curb this somewhat by hiding particular shiny objects in certain parts of the city and getting Teasel to find them and bring them back as a sort of training game. That said, even though the two of them now make a good team, he doesn't think he'll ever be getting his best cutlery back from where Teasel's made it part of her nest.

Jazbay is a sleepy little creature and firmly believes that there's nothing worth doing during the day that can't be done better at night. If summoned while the sun is out, he generally pretends to wilt and fall over comatose. He attempted to convince Bilbo that this is all a part of normal Oddish physiology and also that the only way to get him to function during the day is to feed him lots of sweets. Bilbo was skeptical of this claim and is content for the moment to let Jazbay spend most of his days snoozing among the flowers in Bilbo's windowbox, an arrangement that seems to suit both parties nicely.

Cress is a rather prickly Pokémon. While she will calmly and elegantly sit by the side of the water, the approach of humans will be met with loud honking, pecking, and menacing wingbeating. Unless, of course, that person is Bilbo, in which case she will follow him around like a puppy. Anyone else approaching Bilbo, however, will be subjected to much the same treatment.

Coriander (Cory for short), in spite of still being a young Pokemon, considers himself to be a foremost expert on gardening, particularly in the matter of growing herbs. He takes himself quite seriously on this matter, and will happily opine to any Pokemon or Kindred Soul within earshot about the best way to grow rosemary. He is also an incurable gossip, delighting in listening to it, telling it, and giving his opinions about it, particularly when the sun is out and he can sunbathe at the same time.

Hedge is a gentle and shy Pokemon who doesn't really know his own strength, imagining himself as much smaller and weaker than he actually is. He's easily flustered and embarassed, and tends to respond to this by covering his eyes with his ears and flailing his trunk around. Unfortunately for anyone standing nearby, he's usually too flustered to notice if there are people or Pokemon standing within range of his trunk.
